Unfortunately, something has come up and I cannot attend the Seattle 2.0 Awards on Thursday, May 7th. I’m really bummed about this because it’s a sold out event and it’s going to be a ton of fun.

But, I don’t want my ticket to go unused.  So, I thought I would try to do a little good while giving it away:

I will give this ticket to the person who makes the largest charitable donation to our local public broadcasting station, KCTS 9, by Noon on Thursday, May 7th.

Go to http://www.kcts9.org/ and make a donation, then e-mail me a copy of the receipt.  To get the ball rolling, I contributed $100.

Together, we’ll see how much good we can do for Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch!  And, as a bonus, the biggest contributor will get a free ticket to the awards!
