Seth Godin at Business of Software 2009
This post is part of my Virtual Conference series. I find attending conferences and hearing from leading thinkers inspiring and motivating. Unfortunately, time and money dictate that I cannot attend every conference, however many of them put video of the conference online afterward which is nearly as good as being there!
My first job out of college was working for Seth Godin at Yoyodyne Entertainment, and although that was over ten years ago, I still consider him one of my mentors.
The talk below is excellent: it’s from Joel Spolsky’s Business of Software Conference 2008. Seth explains “why marketing is too important to be left to the marketing department”.
