The story is getting ink because it's the hot story of the week/month/maybe quarter. Kobe's cheating was publicized for a few weeks and died down. The reason it is such a big deal is that it makes VERY big media $$$ to talk about it. In regards to how he plays, it may affect him a bit, but he's had pressure with every shot he's ever taken; the spotlight has ALWAYS been on him. I've been very mediocre at sports in my life, but I've known VERY good athletes and they've just got "it". I don't know what "it" is, but Tiger has a TON of "it". He'll be shaken, sure but I predict will also be in the pack as he always is. Will he win? Maybe if he's in the right position come day 7. The media storm will pass, it always does. It's just hot right now. We've still got a good 30 years of Tiger playing golf if he stays healthy. I don't condone nor approve of what he did, but he's an amazing athlete that has a love for the game. If he doesn't win this tourney or the next one, don't worry, he's not going anywhere.
